Michael Mau is a writer, teacher, father, runner, tinkerer, artist, craftsman, and snappy dresser. In 2013, after 12 years of teaching Advanced Placement English, he transferred to an alternative school where he works with at-risk students who have been, much like his artwork, tossed out and cut up.
